HAMMERS Hero Frank McAvennie was back in town last weekend to launch our latest book, WEST HAM: IN MY DAY (Vol 2).

The ever-popular former Scottish international striker was at the West Ham United store in Lakeside on Friday (Oct 31), before moving on to the British Bookshop in the Liberty Shoping Centre, Romford the following afternoon.

His third, and final, signing session was at our West Ham Retro Fair in Romford yesterday (Nov 2).

"It was great to spend the weekend back in Essex, seeing lots of familiar faces and all my old houses!" laughed the irrepressible Frank before returning home to the North-East.
